Well, the information isn't really a secret. It is mainly just
years and years of trial and error, common sense and obviously a thorough knowledge of the
self adhesive label industry.
The information contained in the document you are about to download is truly the secret
to printing beautiful quality labels. As you well know, your label is such an important part
of your packaging that there is no need for me to stress the importance of having top quality
printing on your labels.
We have developed these important techniques over many years and obviously use
them at CFT Labels. I would welcome any comments or suggestions and invite you to

It
is not common knowledge, but the artwork needed to produce high
quality labels is substantially different and far more complex to that of
conventional lithographic printing. |

Most design studios and advertising agents are
targeted at the litho and silk screen printing sectors. This means that the self adhesive
label printer often has to try and use artwork that has been specifically
tailored
to another printing process.
- Problems naturally
occur when
the label printer does not have the experience, the capability or knowledge to fix
the files your designer has supplied. It often becomes a game of hit and miss,
broken promises and usually results in bad quality labels, late deliveries or
even worse, both!
Do you really need this frustration?
- If problems occur, obviously there is
a cost and I am sure it is not hard for you to guess who will
carry this cost?

still no guarantee that your labels will be of an acceptable printing quality.

and devotion to duty of his press operators, their quality control procedures...
